What makes Hot Snacks stand out? Let’s take a closer look:

  • Family-Owned Atmosphere: The warmth of a family-run business radiates through every corner of this café. Guests have raved about the friendly service, portraying the staff as helpful and welcoming. It's no wonder that customers like Nathan Alcock feel right at home, with many recommending it for its personal touch.
  • Versatile Menu: The menu is a true testament to flexibility. From traditional full English breakfasts, as highlighted by Ian Hatch, to unique offerings like the king prawn curry enjoyed by Jack Duffy, there’s something for everyone. Diners are not limited by options; they can mix and match to create their ideal meal.
  • Value for Money: In an era where dining out can strain the wallet, Hot Snacks brings incredible value. A hearty breakfast accompanied by tea and toast can cost just over a fiver, making it an ideal stop for workers and families alike. Shop around and you'll find it hard to beat these prices.
  • Unique Aesthetic: Don’t let its humble exterior fool you. While some may see a rundown café, many recognize it as a quirky delight. The charmingly retro decor, complete with period features like an old-fashioned telephone and a CRT TV, adds to the character, making each visit feel like a step back in time.

In conclusion, Hot Snacks isn’t just a cafe; it’s an experience. It invites you to indulge in delicious meals crafted with care, all while basking in a warm and friendly environment. This place is what it is, a workers Cafe that based on its appearance you may not venture into, but the food is always excellent and the staff always hard working and friendly. I travel all over the south east and this is the best Cafe for miles around that i will always go out of my way to visit. Been using this place for years and it never disappoints. Where else these days can you get a breakfast with tea and toast for little over a fiver.
